Prepare product images with Claude
Turn “make these storefront-ready” into an explicit, reviewable workflow. Claude establishes the specification, uses existing media tools, validates the results, and returns a manifest instead of silently guessing marketplace requirements.

What the skill coordinates
Specification
Exact dimensions, aspect ratio, crop/pad/fit behavior, background, format, quality, and filename convention.
Safe processing
Preserves originals and applies only requested background removal, crop, resize, conversion, compression, privacy, or watermark steps.
Validation
Checks dimensions, format, transparency, legibility, nonzero file size, and representative visual samples.
Delivery
Returns processed assets, a before/after summary, manifest, warnings, and a clear needs_review list.
Example request
“Prepare these twelve photos at 2000 × 2000 pixels. Keep the full product visible, pad with white, export JPEG at quality 82, use the prefix summer-shoe, preserve my originals, and return one ZIP.”
The skill should not claim Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, or another marketplace’s current compliance unless the user supplies the requirements or they are independently verified. Product Image Studio presets are convenient starting points, not a substitute for current marketplace policy.
