Do I need an account to try the tools?
Not for most tools. Image processing, QR codes, pastebin, webhooks, and developer utilities all work without an account. PDF tools and Pro features require a free login for abuse prevention and key management.
Can I really process 1,000 images with Pro?
Absolutely. Each image resize, convert, compress, or crop counts as one tool use. At 1,000/day, that's a batch of 1,000 product photos, a full video-to-GIF conversion pipeline, or a day's worth of automated PDF processing. Batch processing is included — upload up to 20 files at once and apply the same operation to all of them.
How does Pro help my AI agents?
Pro includes hosted MCP access, a 1,000-call shared daily tool limit, 100 flexible credits each month, batch processing, durable public artifact URLs (25 MB / 30 days / 100 files), 25 always-on website watches, and approval pings to Discord or Telegram. It also unlocks Stock Intelligence (public SEC/House filings, Mira daily brief, watchlist email/webhooks, and optional Local AI Stock Bot feed via

When a Hermes or Claude agent finishes a PDF, image, or report, it needs a real HTTPS link for Discord, email, or clients — not a path on your VPS. Artifacts store the file and return a public URL. Free stays short-lived; Pro keeps files for weeks so deliverables survive overnight jobs. List, delete, and extend via the API or MCP.
What happens to files I process?
For privacy, hosted uploads and generated downloads are temporary by default and are automatically removed after approximately 20 minutes. Longer retention happens only when you explicitly create a durable Artifact. Some AI-powered tools use third-party providers; see Privacy & file retention for the complete policy.
Can my agent watch a website while Hermes is offline?
Yes. Website Watchdog runs on our servers (not only on your VPS). Free includes 2 watches and Pro includes 25. On change we can fire your webhook, Discord, or email, and you can read event history with
GET /api/agent/watch/:id/history.What happens when my AI agent hits the daily limit at 3 AM?
If you have credits, they auto-deduct and your agent keeps running. Each use beyond your daily cap costs 1 credit. Included plan credits roll over to the plan cap while subscribed; purchased credits never expire. Without credits, your agent pauses at the limit — nothing breaks, nothing charges.
How does AI image generation billing work?
AI image generation uses 3 flexible credits per accepted attempt, separate from the daily tool-use quota. Pro includes 100 credits monthly; included credits are spent before purchased credits. Use the web UI at Image Tools → AI Generate or

Each action — resizing an image, merging PDFs, generating a QR code, looking up your IP, shortening a URL — is one use. AI image generation is separate — it bills via credits (3/attempt), not daily tool uses. Opening a page doesn't count; only actually running a tool does.
When does my daily limit reset?
Your daily counter resets at midnight UTC. Unused uses don't roll over.
Can I buy Pro for just my API key, not my account?
Yes. Pro is linked to your account. Eligible API keys use the same 1,000-call daily plan limit and hosted MCP access; route-specific safety, upload, concurrency, quota, and credit rules still apply.
What if I need more than 1,000 uses per day?
Add credits to your account. After free daily quotas, paid tools cost credits: STT (2), remove-bg (2), screenshot (1), HTML→PDF (1), AI images (3). Packs: 100 for $5, 500 for $20, 2000 for $60. Agents:

Yes — cancel from your account settings and you keep Pro until the end of the billing period. No lock-in, no early termination fees.
What are Blueprints?
Blueprints are production-ready Python automation scripts — not raw code snippets. Each one has a CLI,
--help output, and built-in error handling. The complete library is free to download without an account. An optional tip prompt appears first, but skipping it never blocks the download.What is Founding Pro?

How do Blueprints relate to the hosted toolbox?
Hosted tools run in the cloud over the browser, REST API, and MCP. Blueprints are free downloadable Python you run next to your model for local, private, token-saving jobs. See the Blueprints library.
Do I need a subscription or tip to download Blueprints?
No. Every Blueprint and kit is free to download without an account. Tips are optional, do not unlock features, and can always be skipped.
What happens to existing Builder subscriptions?
Builder is closed to new subscriptions. Existing Builder subscribers retain their current plan access and limits until they choose to cancel or change plans.
